Why I Do What I Do (and Why It Matters)
Every day, incredible people work quietly behind the scenes to strengthen their communities. But too often, their stories go unheard and their impact, unseen. That’s what motivates me.
My journey has taken me from South Africa, where I founded my first CSR initiative, to New Zealand, where I spent eight years working in community development and prevention alongside organisations like the Salvation Army. Those experiences taught me that real change isn’t just about resources it’s about relationships, compassion, and making sure the right stories are told.
Now, I’m proud to lead Echo CSR here in Perth. A platform dedicated to shining a light on charities and nonprofits doing vital work without the means to amplify their voices. We help connect purpose-driven people and businesses with these organisations, because when we come together, communities thrive.
